Congress passes Maritime Transportation Security Act

Both Houses of Congress passed the Maritime Transportation Security Act on Thursday, November 14, 2002.

We have attached a Statement from Senator Hollings, a summary of the Bill, and a full copy of the Bill. CMANC thanks the Members of Congress who have heard our concerns and incorporated them in the final legislation. In particular we recognize Senator Barbara Boxer for her efforts in the enactment of the Bill.
